Due to the winter storm advisory for Monday, January 26, 2026 the visitation and funeral service for Yvon Belliveau have been changed to Tuesday, January 27, 2026 from 1:00 pm to 2:45 pm with funeral service at 3:00 pm at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre.

Surrounded by his family, at the Maison Albert – Hospice SENB, on January 20, 2026, Yvon Belliveau passed away peacefully at the age of 84. Born in Cormier-Village, he was the son of the late Joseph and Edmée (Léger) Belliveau.

Yvon worked at Lockwood for 28 years and at Westwood for 11 years. He greatly enjoyed playing cards and cutting wood. Yvon was also a devoted fan of the Montreal Canadiens.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Géraldine; his three children: Réginald (Rose) Belliveau of Moncton, Monique (Donald Landry) Belliveau of Dieppe, and Anthony Belliveau of Haute-Aboujagane; his four brothers: Alphonse of Timmins, ON, Fred (Bernadette) of Haute-Aboujagane, Alcide of Sudbury, ON, and Camille of Timmins, ON; as well as several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Edgar.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac (506-532-3297), on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Shediac. Interment will take place at the Frenette Columbarium, Shediac.

In memory of Yvon, a donation to the Maison Albert – Hospice SENB or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
