It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of
Yvette Love, who left us peacefully, with courage and dignity and
surrounded by love, on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at The Moncton
Hospital. Born in Moncton, Yvette was the youngest daughter of the
late Léo and Pauline (Gallant) Belliveau.
In addition to her parents, Yvette was predeceased by her
husband, Terry Love; her brother, Léo-Paul
"Polly" Belliveau (Noella); and her sisters, Denise
Belliveau (Claire) and Jeanne Belliveau.
Yvette is survived by her daughter, Michelle Love
(Jérémie); her stepdaughters, Karry Moio (Colin)
and Amanda Love (Kevin); and her grandchildren, Branden, Alyssa, and
Kazlyn. She is also survived by her sisters, Louise Gallant
(Émile), Norma Drisdelle (Paul), and Francine LeBlanc
(Léonard "Len"), as well as many extended family
members and friends.
Yvette spent her career in the public service, working at
Transport Canada in Moncton, where she met her husband of over 25
years, Terry. Yvette was a kind, loving person, who throughout her
life put the care and support of those she loved above all else. She
was a true social butterfly with cherished friendships, the life of
the party, quick to laugh and always up for a good chat. She loved to
play games, spend her summertime at the cottage in Cocagne, and have
seafood with her loved ones. Empathetic, generous, and deeply
compassionate, Yvette was full of love and will be dearly
missed.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to the Moncton
Interdisciplinary Neurodegenerative Diseases (MIND) Clinic and the
Medical Assistance in Dying (MAID) Program for the kindness, care, and
guidance they provided to Yvette and her family over the past
years.
A service to celebrate and honour the life of Yvette Love
will be held at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church
Street, Moncton (506-858-1900), on Friday, January 23, 2026. Visiting
hours are Friday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the celebration of
life at 11:00 a.m. In memory of Yvette, a contribution to RDS Canada
