It is with deep sadness that we announce that our dearly beloved mother, Yvette Bujold, passed away peacefully on January 15, 2026 in Moncton, at the age of 78, after a long battle with illness. Born in Campbellton, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Lauretta (Boisvert) Bujold.

She is survived by her children: Michèle L-LeBlanc (Joel LeBlanc), Jean-Guy LeBrun and Renée Verret (Dave Verret); her grandchildren: Chloé, Frédérique, Jasmine, Alex, Audrée, Samuel and Sébastien; her brothers and sisters: Yvon Bujold (Chantal Bujold), Roland Bujold (Bernadette Gagné), Irène Busque (Ronald), Florence Bujold (Marcel Deschamps) and Diane Johnson (Ted); as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by two brothers: Léo Bujold and Ronald Bujold.

Yvette was an exceptional mother who loved her children and grandchildren more than anything. We will forever cherish the precious moments spent by her side and the love and warmth she brought into our lives. She was a very endearing woman, always available and attentive to others. She was an avid reader and could spend long days in libraries. She had a strong interest in current events and the royal family, and she also enjoyed watching crime investigations, including Who done it.

The family would like to sincerely thank the exceptional team at the Pavillon Richard of the Faubourg du Mascaret in Moncton. We are deeply grateful for your dedication and compassion toward our mother during her final years. Thank you for caring for her with such gentleness and kindness.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (506-858-1900) where the funeral service will be celebrated on Monday January 19 at 2:30 pm. Visiting hours are Monday from 1 pm until time of funeral. Interment will be at Our Lady of Calvary cemetery in Dieppe. In memory of Yvette, a contribution to the CHU Dumont Foundation (oncology) would be appreciated.
