Nancy Votour, 80, of Moncton, passed away peacefully on
Sunday, January 11, 2026, at The Moncton Hospital. Born in Moncton,
she was the daughter of the late John and Alma (Gaudet)
Votour.
She is survived by her nieces, Denise Busby (Steve) and
Nicole LeBlanc (Bruce Enloe); her nephew, Mark LeBlanc (late Debbie);
her great-niece, Abigail; as well as many cousins and
friends.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by two sisters,
Dorothy "Dot" LeBlanc (Edgar) and Elizabeth
"Betty" LeBlanc (Henry), and one brother,
John.
Nancy graduated from Harrison Trimble High School and went on
to work with NBTel and The Cooperators during her
career.
A passionate advocate for others, Nancy served as President
of Lupus New Brunswick from 1992 until its integration into Lupus
Canada.
Always a creative, Nancy had many hobbies and loved gifting
her pieces to friends and family. They now exist as reminders of her
love, generosity, and thoughtfulness.
The funeral service will be celebrated at Frenette Funeral
and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (506-858-1900) on
Wednesday June 24 at 11 am. There will be no visitations. Interment
will be held at Shediac Road Cemetery in Moncton.
