It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Rita LeBlanc, aged 70, which occurred on January 9, 2026. Rita was a resident of Trois Ruisseaux and the beloved daughter of the late Yvon and Laura LeBlanc.

Prior to her retirement, Rita was employed as an administrative assistant for Dr. Ulric LeBlanc optometrist for a period of 30 years, during which time she demonstrated dedication, professionalism, and commitment to her work.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 50 years, Valmond LeBlanc; her son, Mario (Annelle) of Scoudouc; her grandson, Gabriel; her brother, Marcel LeBlanc of Shediac; her sister, Linda LeBlanc (Pierre Caissie) of Grand-Digue; and her brother-in-law, Hector Gallant of Grand-Barachois along with her nieces , Tanya Gallant and Sophie Burns; and nephew, Mathieu LeBlanc.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. LeBlanc was predeceased by her sister, Annette Gallant.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac (506-532-3297), on Friday, January 16, 2026, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., and on Saturday, January 17, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral chapel service at 11:00 a.m.

In memory of Mrs. LeBlanc, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of one’s choice would be appreciated.
