It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ricky Betts, 64, of Dieppe, passed away on Wednesday December 31, 2025 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Gerald and Alida (Collette) Betts.

He is survived by his children: Eric and Christina; his step-children: Melissa and Shannon; his brothers: Gerry, Scott and Lance; his grandchildren: Daxton and Bryleigh; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (506-858-1900), where a celebration of his life will be held on Thursday July 30 at 4 pm. Visiting hours are Thursday July 30 from 2 pm until time of celebration.  In memory of Ricky, a contribution to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
