It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Denise Brun, 51, of Moncton, on Monday January 5, 2026 at her residence. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of Raymond and Murielle (Hachey) Brun of Moncton.

Denise worked many years for Airtel and Medavie Blue Cross. She loved her family more then anything and would do anything for them. She had a heart of gold and was the friend everyone wished they had.

Besides her parents, she is survived by her special friend, Michel Thibodeau; her sister, Louise; her niece, Ashley; her beloved cat Missy that misses her mom so much as Denise truly loved her; as well as the Thibodeau family, many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Clarence and Anita (LeBlanc) Haché, and her paternal grandparents, Léandre and Imelda (Richard) Brun.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (506-858-1900) on Sunday January 11 from 2 pm to 4 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm only. A private funeral service will be celebrated. Interment will be at Our Lady of Calvary cemetery in Dieppe. In memory of Denise, a contribution to PAW (People for Animal Wellbeing) would be appreciated.
