Eli Thibeault Fraser, 12 years old, of Grand-Barachois, passed away in Montebello, Québec, on Monday December 22, 2025. Born in Fredericton, he was the son of Blair C. Fraser and Yves Thibeault.

In Grade 7 at École Le Mascaret, Eli played the trombone with the school band Harmonie. Reading books was one of his great passions. He loved being part of the Bleu et Or Swim Club and the Cap-Pelé Scouts as a Cub Scout. He also enjoyed playing tennis, playing the piano, and acting in theatre.

Besides his parents, Yves and Blair, Eli is survived by his grandmother, Denise Bertrand Thibeault of Saint-Mathieu-du-Parc, QC; his grandparents, Jacqueline and Stanley Fraser of Alexandria, ON; his godmother and godfather, Marie-France Thibeault and Daniel Fauchon of Saint-Mathieu-du-Parc, QC, his uncles and aunts: Réjean Thibeault and Jocelyne Légaré of Saint-Élie-de-Caxton, QC, François Thibeault and Diane Girard of Trois-Rivières, QC, Stephanie Fraser and Darrell Rae of Vancouver, B.C., Elizabeth Fraser of Chicago, IL; as well as many cousins, second cousins, and friends.

He was predeceased by his grandfather, Roland Thibeault.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (506-858-1900) on Friday January 9 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm only. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Sainte-Thérèse d’Avila church, 2648 Main Street, Cap-Pelé, on Saturday January 10 at 11 am.  The funeral mass will be videotaped, and the video will be available on Eli's obituary on the Frenette Website at the end of the day. In memory of Eli, a contribution to L’École Le Mascaret (Harmonie) (Harmonie | École Le Mascaret) would be appreciated.
