At
The Moncton Hospital, on Sunday, December 14, 2025, at the age of 68,
Bernard Landry of Saint-André-LeBlanc passed away. Born in
Shediac, he was the son of the late Hervé and Aline
Landry.
He
is survived by his wife, Edwina; his two sons: Christian (Natalie) of
Cocagne and Sébastien (Brigitte) of Memramcook; his two
beloved grandchildren whom he adored: Brielle and Léanne.
He also leaves behind his two sisters, Noëlla Landry and
Hélène Landry of Shediac and
Saint-André-LeBlanc respectively; his brother, Michel
(Darlene) of Saint-André-LeBlanc; a very special person,
his uncle Pierre, whom he considered like a brother; as well as his
brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, and
extended family.
Bernard worked for many years as an
auto body technician. A great car enthusiast, he owned more than one
vehicle, which he cherished like gold. However, what brought him the
greatest joy was the time spent with his
family.
All
who knew Bernard recognized his great generosity—a gentle
man with an exceptionally kind and loving heart. He freely offered his
help and expertise to anyone who needed it and often had to be paid in
secret, as he never wanted anything in
return.
The
family very deeply thanks all the medical staff, as well as Patricia
and Aldoria, for having been by their side and for having provided
such devoted support throughout his
illness.
In
accordance with Bernard’s wishes, the family chose a private
funeral has already taken place. Bernard will rest at the Frenette
Columbarium in Cap-Pelé.
Funeral arrangements were
entrusted to Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre,
Cap-Pelé (506-577-3297).
In memory of Bernard, a donation to The
Friends of The Moncton Hospital Foundation – Oncology would
be appreciated.
