Lionel LeBlanc, 90, of Moncton, passed away peacefully on Monday December 15, 2025 at his residence. Born in Lakeburn, he was the son of the late Auguste and Bella (LeBlanc) LeBlanc.

Prior to his retirement, Lionel had a lengthy career working for CN.

He is survived by his; two children: Lynne Morrison (Brent) and Bermont (Tara); three grandchildren: Kayla, Grayson and Riley; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.

Besides his parents he was predeceased by his wife, Jeannita (Boudreau); three sisters: Edith, Hazel and Doris; and three brothers: Laurie, Alcide and Oscar.

According to his wishes, a private funeral service was celebrated at Frenette Funeral Centre, Moncton (506-858-1900). Interment will be in Barachois. In memory of Lionel, a contribution to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
