At the Villa Providence of Shediac Inc., on December 11,
2025, Noëlla Coulombe passed away peacefully at the age of 76
years and 11 months. She was the wife of the late Wilbrod Coulombe.
Born in Kedgwick, she resided in Shediac and was formerly of
Saint-Jean-Baptiste.
She is survived by her two sons: Steeve (Carole Plourde) of
Riverview and Marc (Jan Coulombe) of New Maryland; four grandchildren,
Maude, Samuel, Ella, and Zackary; her two sisters, Jacinthe LeBlanc
(Dennis) and Régina Carrier, both of Montréal;
as well as several cousins, nieces, nephews, and
friends.
She now rests with her husband Wilbrod Coulombe, her parents,
Ernest Carrier and Rose Ratté, and her sisters Carmelle
Ouellette (late Alvarès) and Rachel Carrier (late Michel
Bickley).
Throughout her life, Noëlla worked on various
projects within her parish and in different fields such as forestry,
traffic control flagger, Christmas wreath making, day laborer in a
sawmill, and many other manual occupations. Noëlla was a
hardworking woman, devoted to others, generous, and
humorous.
The family is grateful and wishes to extend heartfelt thanks
to Villa Providence Inc. of Shediac as well as Résidence
Bellevue Inc. of Dieppe for the good care provided to
Noëlla.
The family will receive condolences from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00
p.m. on Saturday, July 11, at the Kedgwick Church Hall. The funeral
service will follow at 4:00 p.m. at Notre-Dame-des-Prodiges Church in
Kedgwick, with interment in the St. Jean-Baptiste
Cemetery.
In her memory, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society
of NB or the Canadian Cancer Society of NB.
