Brian Richard, 60, of Shemogue, passed away at his residence on Wednesday December 3, 2025. Born in Petit-Cap, he was the son of late Dosithé et Rita (LeBlanc) Richard.

Brian worked most of his life in construction as a framing foreman.  He enjoyed fishing and also enjoyed his time spent with his dog Irock.

He is survived by his former wife Josie Richard; his girlfriend April Chenell; one son Bryan (Bailey Polley) of Shemogue; five stepdaughters: Cathy, Angie, Rachel, Tanya and Debby; three brothers: Donald, Reginald, both of Petit-Cap and Danny of Shemogue; four sisters: Anna, Mona, both of Moncton, Annette, Pauline both of Petit-Cap; eight step-grandchildren: Damien, Decklin, Daxton, Erica, Amanda, Justin, Izaac, Damian; and one step great-great-granddaughter Jocelyn.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his three brothers: Albert, Ovila and Roger.

As per his request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Cap-Pelé (506-577-3297), 2642 Acadie Road, Cap-Pelé, NB E4N 1E4.
