It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of
Phyllis Thériault, 81, of Moncton, on November 28, 2025 at
the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter
of the late Henry and Rita (Bastarache) Cormier.
A nurse for over 20 years and volunteer for 15 years at the
Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital, our mother loved helping people. She
loved and missed her husband Georges so much that she returned to him
just two years after his passing. She was the life of the party
anywhere she went and didn’t have a shy bone in her body.
She will be truly missed. Let’s have a beer with a dash of
salt to toast our beloved Phyllis. Bye Mom… love
you!
She is survived by her children: Michelle (Terry LeBlanc) and
Serge (Nancy); her brother, Guy (Eva); four grandchildren: Corey,
Renelle, Dominique and Monica; as well as several nephews and
nieces.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband,
Georges (2023).
In accordance to her wishes, there will be no visitation and
no funeral service. Interment will be at Frenette Columbarium in
Moncton. In memory of Phyllis, a contribution to the Alzheimer Society
would be appreciated. Funeral arrangements are in the professional
care of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Moncton
(506-858-1900).
