At her home on Monday, December 1, 2025, at the age of 69, Pierrette Cormier of Trois-Ruisseaux passed away. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Jean-Paul and Jeannette (Gaudet) Cormier.
Pierrette dedicated more than 30 years of her life to her work as a social worker, showing compassion and devotion, and touching countless lives with her wisdom, kindness, and unwavering support. She found her greatest peace near the water, especially on quiet days at Silver Sands Beach, where she loved to relax and reflect. A creative spirit, Pierrette enjoyed crafts and found great joy in creating with her hands. In her spare time, she generously offered her time to help and tutor children, always eager to see them learn and grow. Her gentleness and generous nature will remain in the memories of all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her daughter, Mylène Légère; a special friend, Jean-Marc Dion of Cap-Pelé; her sisters: Janice Léger of Cap-Pelé and Nicole Cormier (Eudore Jacob) of Petit-Cap; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by two brothers: Danny and Frank.
According to her wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Cap-Pelé (506-577-3297), 2642 Acadie Road, Cap-Pelé, NB E4N 1E4.
In memory of Pierrette, a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
