Dorice Richard, 100, of Dieppe and formerly of Moncton, passed away on Sunday November 23, 2025 at the Foyer Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Coeur. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Adelard and Amanda (Girouard) Richard.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews. Dorice was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by one sister, Orpha; and five brothers: Henri, Raymond, Alyre "Babe", Norman, and Edgar.

The family would like to thank the doctors and staff of Foyer Notre-Dame-Sacré-Coeur for the outstanding care Dorice received while she was a resident at the nursing home.

A private funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Moncton (506-858-1900). Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe. In memory of Dorice, a contribution to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
