Rose-Ella Boudreau
1946–2025

Rose-Ella Boudreau, 79, of Haute-Aboujagane, passed away on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton. Born in Petit-Cap, she was the daughter of the late Donat Vautour and Sara (Léger) Vautour.

Before her retirement, Rose-Ella worked as a nurse in the pediatric unit at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre for 34 years. She loved doing yoga, taking walks at Aboiteau Beach, spending time in her garden and among her flowers, doing sudoku in her gazebo, and watching and listening to birds—especially hummingbirds. She cherished time spent with her family, especially with her grandchildren, whom she loved with all her heart.

She is survived by her husband, Théodule "Ted"; her mother, Sara Vautour of Cap-Pelé; her daughter, Chantal (Gilles) Bourque of Memramcook; her brothers: Réjean Vautour (Murielle Bourgeois) of Haute-Aboujagane and Gaston Vautour (Pauline) of Cap-Pelé; her sisters-in-law, Thérèse Vautour and Rose-Marie Vautour, both of Cap-Pelé; her grandchildren, Sébastien and Janelle Bourque; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her father, Donat, and her brothers: Gérard Vautour and Lévi Vautour.

A private funeral service was held.

Cremation and funeral arrangements are under the direction of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Shediac (506-532-3297).
