Gregory Blakney, 73, of Moncton, passed away on Friday November 7, 2025 at The Moncton Hospital. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Omer and Katherine (Kelly) Blakeney.

He is survived by his children: Robert Joseph Allen Leblanc, Katherine Ella May Jane Blakeney and Bradley Patrick Allen Blakeney; five grandchildren: William, Bailee, Brody, Hannah and Taylor; one great-grandchild, Elija; his siblings: Joanne Blakeney, Vern Blakeney and Morely Blakeney; as well as his nieces and nephews.

In accordance to his wishes, there will be no visitation and no funeral service. In memory Greg, a contribution to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated. Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Moncton (506-858-1900).
