Lorraine Ozélie Gallant, 99, of Dieppe, passed away on Thursday November 6, 2025 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born in Saint-Charles, she was the daughter of the late Patrice and Zélica (Robichaud) Daigle.

She is survived by her daughter, Cécile Daigle (Gilles) of Saint-Charles; her step-son, Brent Gallant (Charlene) of Enfield, NS; three grandchildren: Sarah, Julie, and Eric; two great-grandchildren: Noah and Caleb; three sisters: Patricia Cormier (Edgar) of Moncton, Sr Zélica Daigle, Hospitalière St-Joseph, of Bathurst, and Stella Richard (Léo) of Richibucto-Village; one brother, Jean-Paul Daigle of Dieppe; as well as her nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Oscar Gallant (2016); one sister, Aurore Robichaud; and four brothers: Bernard, Tilmon, Yvon, and Guy.

The family will receive condolences at the Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (506-858-1900) on Monday from 9 am until time of departure (10:45). The funeral mass will be celebrated at Sainte-Thérèse-de-l’Enfant-Jésus church, 457 Acadie Avenue, Dieppe, on Monday November 10 at 11 am. Interment will take place at a later date at Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery in Dieppe. In memory of Lorraine, a contribution to the N.B Heart and Stroke Foundation or the CHU Dumont Foundation would be appreciated.
