It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of
Norbert Haché at the Faubourg du Mascaret –
Pavillon Richard in Moncton, on Monday November 3, 2025 at the age of
91. Born in Grande-Anse, NB, he was the son of the late Wilfred and
Agnes (née Thériault)
Haché.
Following his retirement after 40+ years of service at
Canadian National Railway (CN), he enjoyed volunteering at the Golden
Age Club. Over the years, he enjoyed activities such as
playing cards, playing pool, bowling and skating. Many
summers were spent at the cottage and much fun was had on organized
tours. Always finding something to keep busy around the
house, he also found motivation every day for exercise; until illness
made it no longer possible.
Lovingly referred to as "Super Dad", he will be
deeply missed by his daughters: Diane Haché of Moncton, NB,
and Nicole Harris (Brian) of Halifax, NS; three step-grandchildren and
five step-great-grandchildren; his brother, Ernest Haché
(Aline) of Grande-Anse, NB; as well as several nieces and
nephews.
Norbert was predeceased by his wife Aline (née
Boudreau), daughter Louise, siblings: Armand (Anna), Vincent, Martine
(late Ritchie MacIntosh) and Camille (Augustine).
The family would like to express their gratitude for the care
Norbert received at the Faubourg du Mascaret - Pavillon Richard since
October, 2022.
The family will receive condolences on Saturday November 8 at
9:30 am at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street,
Moncton (506-858-1900) followed by the funeral service at 11 am at
same location. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary
Cemetery, Dieppe, NB. In memory of Norbert, a contribution to a
charity of the donor’s choice would be
appreciated.
