At the Moncton Hospital, on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at the age of 81, passed away Noëlla (Robichaud) Goguen of Oasis d’Or in Dieppe, and formerly of Cocagne. Born in Minto, she was the daughter of the late Willie and the late Élise (Melanson) Robichaud.
Noëlla was a woman of deep faith. She finished her career at the Foyer Saint-Antoine, where she continued as a volunteer. She loved music, playing the spoons and tap dancing. She knew how to entertain the residents by playing guitar, which she enjoyed.
She is survived by her daughter, Lise Goguen (Nicole Landry) of Cocagne-Dieppe; her brothers: Émile Robichaud of Dieppe, Donald (Alice) of Cocagne, Yvon (Lise) of Sainte-Marie, and Normand of Moncton; several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Paul Goguen (2004); her son, Normand (1972); and a brother Raoul.
The funeral will be celebrated in the chapel of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac (506-532-3297), on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at 3 p.m. Visitations will be held at the funeral centre on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, from 1 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. Noëlla will be laid to rest in Saint-Pierre Cemetery in Cocagne.
Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick, or to a charity of the donor’s choice, in her memory, would be appreciated by the family.
