Jean Elizabeth Leger, 91, of Shediac and formerly of Riverview, passed away, Sunday October 26, 2025, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre.      

Born in Halifax, NS, she was the daughter of the late John T. Dempsey and Mariam (Samson) Dempsey.

She will be sadly missed by her son Daniel of Ottawa ON, and granddaughter, Victoria of Riverview NB.  She was the last living member of her immediate family and is predeceased by her husband, Reginald (2013), by brothers: Billy, Donny, Jackie, Gerald, Jimmy, Brian, and one sister, Grace.

As per her request, there will be no visitation at the funeral home or funeral mass.
