Dora Thibodeau, 82, of Cap-Pelé passed away at the Dr-Georges-L-Dumont University Hospital Centre on Monday, October 20, 2025. Born in Cap-Pelé, she was the daughter of the late Albert Landry and late Elizabeth (Gautreau) Landry.

Dora worked as a kindergarten teacher in Ontario, before becoming a full time family mom, once she moved to New Brunswick.  She loved tending her flower gardens and enjoyed shopping.  Dora was an avid Oilers Hockey fan, which she enjoyed watching with her cherished grandson and great-grandsons.

Dora is survived by her husband of 63 years, Hubert; her son, Kenneth of Cap-Pelé; and one daughter, Brigitte (Denis Cormier) of Scoudouc; one grandson, Shawn (Julie Richard); and two great-grandson Luka and Zavier, as well as many friends.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by two brothers: Roger and Ronald; and by one sister, Murielle.

As per the family wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral.
