Rita Boudreau, 98, formerly of Moncton, passed away on Monday October 13, 2025 at the Villa Providence in Shediac. Born in Memramcook, she was the daughter of the late Dionus and Zelica (Melanson) Babin.

She is survived by three children: Claudette Wark, Suzanne Boudreau, and Janice Minsky; five grandchildren: Monique, Julie, Sean, Evan, and Gabrielle; two great-grandchildren: Ciara and Conlan; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, Rodolphe Bourque; her second husband, Leonard Boudreau; two sisters: Stella and Lorraine; and five brothers: Roger, Anselme, Raymond, Emile, and Léo.

By request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. A memorial mass will be celebrated at a later date at Our Lady of Assumption Cathedral in Moncton. Interment will be at Our Lady of Calvary cemetery in Dieppe. In memory of Rita, a contribution to the Villa Providence (activities) would be appreciated.
