It is with heartfelt sadness that the family announces the
passing of Tammy Michelle Burton, 50, who passed away peacefully on
October 9, 2025, surrounded by her loving family at the Moncton City
Hospital.
Tammy was a loving wife, mother, sister and daughter.
Spending much of her life as a daycare provider, then a caregiver for
adults with disabilities, and finally as a support worker for autistic
youth, Tammy touched the lives of many. She brought light and joy to
all of those who met her and was always prepared to lend a helping
hand wherever was needed.
Born in Mississauga Ontario, she was the beloved daughter of
Robert and Kathy (Twiss) Hunter of Haute-Aboujagane,
NB.
Tammy will be deeply missed by her husband of 29 years, Geoff
Burton, and by her cherished daughter, Samantha Michelle Burton, both
of Haute-Aboujagane.
She is also survived by her sister, Christina McCauley, her
brother in law TJ McCauley of Notre-Dame and her nephews, Hunter of
Lakeville and Griffin of Notre-Dame. As well as her goddaughter,
Kassidy (Inzandt) Graham and her god-grandson Kayce Graham of Owen
Sound, and her nieces Erika Kosmack of Cambridge and Takira Kosmack of
Calgary, and numerous other nieces, nephews, family and
friends.
She was predeceased by her grandparents, Anne and Keith
Twiss, and by her aunt, Evelyn Anderson.
In keeping with the family’s wishes, a celebration
of life will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements are in the
