Lylla Roach, 96, of Moncton, passed away on Monday October 13, 2025 at Pavillon Richard of Faubourg du Mascaret. Born in Napan Bay, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Roberta (McInnis) Taylor.

She is survived by two children: Bruce (Eileen Kelly) of Ottawa, ON, and Janet Cormier (John) of Moncton; nine grandchildren: David, Debbie, Kelly-Ann, Kimmy, Patrick, Richard, Erin, Stéphanie and Carole Anne; as well as 11 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She will also be missed by her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Joseph Roach, Leo and Doris Roach, Irene Roach, Lorraine Roach, Ernest and Shirley Gallant, Ronald Gallant and Paul Gallant. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Eddie; two children: Barbara and Brian; 12 siblings: Earl, Melvin, Lynwood, Bud, Leo, Ronald, Alvin, Annie, Jean, Ada, Lorna and Rhoda.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (506-858-1900) on Monday from 6 to 8 pm only. The funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Bernard’s Roman Catholic Church, 43 Botsford Street, Moncton on Tuesday October 21 at 11 am. Interment will be in Rogersville parish cemetery.
