Stella Richard, 78, of Shediac, passed away on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at Hospice SENB Albert House in Moncton. Born in Richibouctou-Village, she was the daughter of the late André and Ida (Richard) Richard.

She is survived by her children: Laurie Richard (Roberte) of Grande-Digue and Murielle Richard (Claude) of Fredericton; by her sisters, Edna Barrieau (Alfred), Andréa LeBlanc (Louis Jospeh) all of Dieppe and Jeanne Allain Caissie (Omer) of Sainte-Anne; by her grandchildren, Mélanie, Jérémie, Danica and Yannick; by her great-grandchildren, Félix, Dominic and Adèle; by her sister-in-law, Phyllis Richard of Florida; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Stella was predeceased by her husband, Normand Richard (2022) and by her brother, Gerard.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Albert House for the wonderful care Stella received.

The family will receive condolences at the Frenette Funeral and Cremation Center, 396 Main Street, Shediac, on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 from 1:00 pm to 2:45pm. The funeral will be celebrated at St. Joseph Church, 415 Main Street, Shediac on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at 3:00 pm with burial to follow at St. Joseph cemetery, Shediac.

In memory of Stella, a contribution to Hospice SENB (Albert House) the would be appreciated.
