Normand "Norm" Landry, 84, of Moncton, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 29, 2025, at Foyer Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Cœur in Dieppe. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Raymond and Irene (Roy) Landry.

After graduating from Université Saint-Joseph, he worked for several companies before enjoying a successful career with National Bank Financial. Known for his ever-present smile, positive energy and adventurous personality, Normand remained active throughout his life by generously volunteering his time with various organizations especially with Université de Moncton and Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Yvonne (Bourgeois); two children: Nicole (Lise Goguen) of Cocagne and Grégoire (Lisa Bourque) of Dieppe; two grandchildren: Miriam and Geneviève; three brothers: Paul (Marie-Claire), Victor (Rose-Marie), both of Dieppe, and Ronald (Donna) of Pointe-Claire, QC; as well as many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (506-858-1900), from where the funeral service will be celebrated on Thursday, July 10 at 3 p.m. Visiting hours are Wednesday, July 9 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 2 p.m. until the time of the funeral. Normand’s final resting place will be in Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre’s columbarium in Moncton.

A special thank you goes to all the staff at Foyer Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Coeur for the exceptional care and the love given to Normand during his stay. We will forever be grateful for your devotion.
