It’s with great
sadness that we announce the passing of Terry Doiron, 73, of
Cap-Pelé surrounded by his loving family, on Tuesday, June
17, 2025. Born in London, Ontario, he was the son of the late
Napoléon and Aurore (Léger)
Doiron.
Terry loved family gatherings,
watching all his grandkids playing hockey was his great passion,
travelling and spending time on his boat and his side by
side.
He also had a passion for the
Seafood industry; his last employment was with Suncoast Seafood for
the last 13 years……
He is survived by his wife,
Alfreda (Landry); his two daughters: Sylvette Duguay (Eddie) of Bas
Cap-Pelé and Carole Gallant (Scott) of Shediac; his son:
Luc (Nadine) of Grand-Barachois; his two brothers: Paul and Tommy
(Liz), both of Ontario; his two sisters: Sandra (Joey)
O’Blenis of Hillsborough and Linda Reid of Hopewell Cape;
his brother-in-law Ronald Goguen of Shediac; his sisters-in-law:
Murielle Levy of Shediac and Eldora Levy of Hillsborough. He will be
deeply missed by his five grandchildren: Sébastien
(Isabel), Samuel (Carla), Patrick (Brittany), Ryan, and
Céline, as well as his great-grandson
Caleb.
Besides his parents, he was
predeceased by two sisters: Dorothy Goguen and Debbie McDonough; three
brothers: Don Levy, Jim Levy and Gerry
Levy.
The family would like to thank
the staff of the Extra-Mural Program for their attentive care of
Terry.
The family will receive
condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 2642 Acadie
Road, Cap-Pelé (506-577-3297) on Sunday, June 22, 2025,
from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. only, and on Monday, June 23, 2025, from
9:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. The funeral will be held on Monday, June 23,
2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Sainte-Thérèse
d’Avila Church, 2648 Acadie Road,
Cap-Pelé.
