It is with great sadness that we announce that Aline Caissie, of Moncton, passed away peacefully at the age of 83 years, on June 14, 2025 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born in Petite-Aldouane, she was the daughter of the late Placide and Marguerite (Richard) Robichaud.

Aline worked for over 30 years as a part-time cleaning technician at Co-op Atlantic. Sweet and affectionate by nature, she was a loving mother, devoted wife and dear friend to many. She truly enjoyed spending time with her family and had an exceptional joie de vivre.

She is survived by her husband for 61 years, Bernard Caissie; four daughters: Susanne Mazerolle (Jean-Guy), Lise Robichaud (Elmo), Nancy Caissie (David) and Arlene Santucci (Pat); five grandchildren: Bernard, Justin, Lyne, Marco and Nathan; three great-grandchildren: Dax, Théo and Miles; three sisters: Jeannine Gray (Sylvère), Aurella Chevarie (Émile) and Rose Malingrey (Jean-Marie); one sister-in-law, Rita Robichaud; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by six sisters: Célèste, Doris, Stella, Lorette, Lorraine and Eva; and four brothers: John, Éloi, Adrien, and Guy.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (506-858-1900) where the funeral service will be celebrated on Thursday June 19 at 10:30 am. Visiting hours are Thursday from 9 am until time of funeral.  Interment will be at Our Lady of Calvary cemetery in Dieppe at a later date. In lieu of flowers, in memory of Aline, a contribution to the CHU Dumont Foundation (oncology) or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.

Words of comfort and donations may be made at the funeral home and at www.frenettefuneralhome.com
