Sister Édithe Landry (Sr Marie-Camilla), ndsc, passed away following a lengthy illness on Thursday June 12, 2025 at the Motherhouse of the Religieuses de Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Coeur in Moncton. She was 92 years of age and in the 74th year of her religious life. Born in Pokemouche, she was the daughter of the late Romain and Hélène (Blanchard) Landry.

Besides her religious family, she is survived by several nieces and nephews.  She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by five sisters: Alice, Sr. Hélène, ndsc, Sr. Lucie, ndsc, Agnès and Rose-Anna; and six brothers: Romain, Arthur, Marc, Georges, Father Patrice, csc, and Raymond.

Sister Édithe will be resting at the Notre-Dame-d’Acadie Pavilion of the Religieuses Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Coeur Motherhouse, 125 King Street, Moncton (Godfrey Lane entrance) on Sunday June 15 from 2 pm to 8:30 pm, with Solemn Vespers at 7 pm. Visitations will start again on Monday June 16 from 9 am until the funeral mass. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday June 16 in the Motherhouse chapel at 10 am.  The funeral mass will be streamed live and may be viewed on her obituary at www.frenettefuneralhome.com where condolences may also be sent.  Interment will be in Memramcook.  Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Moncton (506-858-1900).
