Anne-Marie Martin, 71, of Riverview, passed away on Monday
June 9, 2025 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born in Saint-Antoine,
she was the daughter of the late Henri and Christine (Robichaud)
Caissie.
Anne-Marie had worked as a typographer for the newspapers
L'Évangéline and Pro Kent. She was known for her
big heart and was always courageous in her illness. Anne-Marie was a
woman whose strength, grace, and love left a mark on every life that
she touched. She offered wisdom, love without limits, and strength
even when hers was tested. She was a guiding light - always ready with
a listening ear, and the kind of advice that came from a heart full of
experience and compassion. Her absence will be a deep ache, but her
resilience and fierce strength will live on in all of her family and
friends.
She is survived by her husband for 48 years, Laurent; her
daughter, Christine Martin (Matthew McCully) of Riverview; her
daughter by choice whom she considered like her own, Verna Daigle
(Brian) of Kierstead Mountain; three grandchildren: Joshua, Emma, and
Kennedy; two sisters and two brothers: Diane Caissie, Claude Caissie,
Yvonne Caissie and Rhéal Caissie, all of Saint-Antoine;
two sisters-in-law: Rose-Marie Gaudet (Gerard) of Moncton and
Simone McIntyre (Marc) of Baie-Sainte-Anne; four nieces: Prescilla,
Tammy, Michelle and Lise; five nephews: Luc (Renelle), Gilles
(Lese-Ann), Richard, Denis and Conrad; one
great-niece, Paryse; and three great-nephews: Alex, Nicholas, and
Zachary, as well as other great-nieces and
great-nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by one sister,
Géraldine; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Georges and
Séraphie (Daigle) Martin; and one brother-in-law,
Frederick.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and
Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (506-858-1900) on Monday
from 7 to 9 pm only. The funeral mass will be celebrated at
Sainte-Thérèse-de-l’Enfant-Jésus
