Yvonne LeBlanc, 60, of Cap-Pelé, passed away
peacefully at her residence on June 7, 2025, surrounded by her loving
family. Born in Shediac, she was the daughter of the late
Léobald "Léo" and Dora
(Landry).
Yvonne was a woman who took great pride in serving and
helping others. A dedicated member of
Sainte-Thérèse d'Avila Parish, she spent many
hours at Saint-Vincent-de-Paul, caring for the less fortunate. Yvonne
generously volunteered her time to the residents of
Cap-Pelé—whether as an elected member of Council,
assisting at Castel des Flots Bleus Residence by driving residents to
appointments, calling bingo, serving breakfast at the school, or
organizing the annual bike rodeo for many years. She also worked at
Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre for many years, where she will
be deeply missed.
She is survived by her husband, Daniel "Danny"
LeBlanc; two sons: Ricky of Moncton and Luc (Cynthia) of
Grand-Barachois; three sisters: Sister Lorraine Doiron of
Hollandtownship, New Jersey; Pauline Clark (Richard "Rick")
of Shediac; and Yvette Doiron (Maria Surette) of Cap-Pelé;
two brothers: Eric (Sonia) and Paul (Ginette), both of
Cap-Pelé; two grandchildren, Maïka and Zavier,
whom she adored; her special friends Louis Léger, Majella
Doiron and Marie-Paule Vienneau who were always there for her; as well
as one niece, many nephews, cousins, and friends.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Louise,
and a brother, Léon, both of whom passed away at a young
age.
A special thank you to all the doctors, nurses, and support
staff at The Moncton Hospital and the Extra-Mural Hospital for the
excellent care given to Yvonne.
