Emery Gaudet, 80, of Grand-Barachois, passed away on Friday June 6, 2025 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC Born in Cap-Pelé, he was the son of the late Aurèle and Ernestine (Thibodeau) Gaudet.

He will be sadly missed by his wife of 55 years, Annette (Gallant); two daughters: Danielle Blanchet (Daniel) and Isabelle Gaudet (Gary Boudreau); six grandchildren: Joshua, Emma, Justin, Anabelle, Jacob and Caleb; two sisters: Rosella Goguen (Donat) and Jocelyne Hensel (Bob); two brothers: Norbert (Annette) and Régis; as well as and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral mass will be celebrated at St-Henri de Barachois R. C. church, 1356 route 133, Grand-Barachois on Thursday, June 12 at 10:30 am. There will be no visitation. Interment will be in St-Henri-de-Barachois parish cemetery, Grand-Barachois. In memory of Emery, a contribution to CHU Dumont Foundation (oncology) would be appreciated.
