Anthony Lavoie passed away at his residence on May 16, 2025, at the age of 33. Born in Edmundston, he was the son of Denis Lavoie and the late Diane Gagnon. 

In addition to his father, he is survived by his brother, Jean-Pascal (Danielle Latour); his nephews, Félix-Olivier and Xavier; as well as his uncles and aunts.

Besides his mother, he was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, the late Armand Lavoie and the late Francine Lavoie (Blanchard), and his maternal grandparents, the late Conrad Gagnon and the late Hélène Ouellet. 

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac (506-532-3297) from where the funeral will be celebrated on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at 4:00 pm. Visiting hours are Thursday, June 26, 2025, from 2:00pm to 3:45 pm.

Interment will take place at Saint-Jérôme Cemetery in Matane, Quebec, at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Anthony may be made to House of Nazareth, Moncton.
