At Ocean Hall of Shannex, on Monday, May 26, 2025, Joseph
"Joe" Thibodeau of Moncton passed away at the age of 89.
Born in Dieppe, he was the son of the late Albert and
Hélène (Surette) Thibodeau.
Always well dressed, Joseph was a man of great pride. He
loved traveling to Quebec City with his dear wife, Albertine several
times a year to shop and enjoy fine meals accompanied by good wine.
Before his retirement, he worked at CN as a clerk in the engineering
department.
He is survived by two half-sisters: Annette Melanson
(Maurice), and Gloria Bourque; one half-brother, Laurie Belliveau
(Jeannette) all of Moncton; as well as several nieces, nephews, and
friends.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife,
Albertine (2017).
The family wishes to express its sincere gratitude to the
staff of Ocean Hall as well as Camden Park Terrace for all the care
provided to him. We would also like to thank those who visited,
supported, and provided care to Joseph, this was much
appreciated.
There will be no visitation at Frenette Funeral and Cremation
Centre. The funeral will be celebrated at Notre-Dame-de-la-Paix R.C.
Church, 87 Murphy Avenue, on Monday, June 2, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. Burial
will follow at Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery in Dieppe. In memory of
Joseph, a donation to the CHU Dumont or Friends of The Moncton
Hospital would be appreciated.
