It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Ronald Joseph LeBlanc, affectionately known as Ronnie, who passed away peacefully on Friday, May 16, 2025, at the age of 61.

Ronnie was born in 1964 at The Moncton Hospital. In 1964, his family moved to St-Édouard, where he spent his early childhood before relocating to Waltham, Massachusetts in 1967. In his late twenties, Ronnie returned to Canada, settling back in New Brunswick where he began a lifelong career in construction. He took great pride in his work—always building, fixing, and creating with his hands—and found purpose and satisfaction in every project he touched.

He had a deep love for country music, a strong connection to his roots, and an even stronger devotion to his family. Ronnie was a supportive, loving father to his four children, and his greatest passion in life was taking care of those he loved. His sense of humor, quick wit, and storytelling spirit made him a joy to be around. Whether he was sharing a laugh, spinning a tale, or simply being present, Ronnie left a lasting impression on everyone he met.

Ronnie was predeceased by his beloved parents; Albert J. LeBlanc and Lelia P. LeBlanc (Pellerin); his brothers Roy LeBlanc and Clarence LeBlanc and his granddaughter Angelica.

He is survived by his children: Sara, Jessica, Nicole, and Jessie; his grandchildren: Junior, Emma, and Isabelle; and his siblings: Linda, Leonard & Lisa (wife), Claudette & Jean-Paul (husband), Nelson & Betsy (wife) and Roger & Louise (wife). He will also be deeply missed by many cousins, extended family members, and close friends.

Ronnie will be remembered for his big heart, strong hands, and the laughter he brought into our lives. Though he is no longer with us, he will live on in our hearts and memories forever.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac (506-532-3297) from where the funeral will be celebrated on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at 11 am. Visiting hours are Saturday May 31, 2025, from 9:30 am to 10:45 am.

Cremation and funeral arrangements are under the direction of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Shediac (506-532-3297).
