Ola Bourque, 70, of Saint-Antoine and formerly of
Cap-Pelé, NB, passed away on May 23, 2025, at Villa
Providence in Shediac, NB. Born in Cap-Pelé, he was the son
of the late Livain and Irène (Goguen)
Bourque.
A retiree from Martin Brower Canada, he worked as a warehouse
employee for over 42 years. He was known as a handyman, an avid
fisherman, and hunter. He will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Bertha (Cormier)
Bourque; his children: Lise Bourque of Dieppe and Gilles Bourque
(Michael Spatafora) of Toronto, ON; his sisters: Majella Bourque and
Linda Bourque; his brothers: Paul Bourque (Eva), Réginald
Bourque (Joanne), Richard Bourque (Marcia), and Danny Bourque, as well
as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a sister,
Anne-Marie Brine, and his brothers: Roger Bourque, Victor Bourque, and
Gérard Bourque.
The family will receive condolences at the Frenette Funeral
and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street in Shediac, NB, (506) 532-3297,
on Thursday, May 29, 2025, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., with a sharing of
memories at 4:00 p.m. Ola will rest in the columbarium at the Frenette
Funeral Centre in Shediac. In memory of Ola, a donation to
the Friends of the Moncton Hospital (Cardiology) would be appreciated
by the family.
