Raymond L. Breau, 65 of
Shediac passed away on May 21, 2025, in Shediac. Born in Moncton, he
was the son of the late E. Harold and Juliette Anna (Léger)
Breau.
Raymond was a simple yet
complex guy. He had a love of music and had an extensive collection of
CDs and LPs.
When he was younger, he made
copies of these on cassettes so he could carry his music with him when
he went out. He also had a love of books and
knowledge.
He would spend many hours in
used bookstores and second-hand music stores just to see what they had
and also to add to his collection. He would also spend many hours at
the Shediac Library researching many subjects of interest on their
computers.
He lived a simple life. He
would walk or bike every day to the local stores. He would stop along
the way to check in on relatives to see if they needed anything. He
also cared very much for others and worry that they may get a fine if
their lawn got to long or the leaves were not picked
up.
Raymond loved being with
friends and he also loved family gatherings. He had a deep love of
family. And yet, he also loved his private time and regretted not
getting to know his many nephews and nieces as well as he could
have.
Raymond, you will be deeply
missed more than you could ever have
imagined.
We love you
brother!
He is survived by his
siblings: Robert (Francine), Paul (Donna), Dorothy
« Dot » Boudreau (late Roger),
Peter (late Thérèse) all of Shediac; his
brother-in-law Bob Rioux of Fredericton as well as his nephews and
nieces.
Besides his parents, he was
predeceased by his sister Harolyn Rioux.
The family will receive
condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street,
Shediac (506-532-3297) on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, from 1 to 2:45 pm.
Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph RC Church, 415 Main
Street, Shediac on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at
3pm.
In memory of Raymond, a contribution to the
