Roger "Butch" Duplessis, 53, of Moncton, passed away on Wednesday May 21, 2025 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Ivan Sawyer and Regina Duplessis.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon (Arsenault); three children: Roger Jr, Ryan and Dylan; three sisters: Angela MacLeod (Wayne), Leona Gauthier both of Moncton and Tammy Chevarie (Wayne) Saint-John; his nieces and nephews: Cameron, Paris, Alesha and Megan; his great nieces and nephews: Madelyn, Melanie, Max and Mariah; as well as many cousins and friends.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his step father Emery Duplessis.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (506-858-1900) on Wednesday May 28 from 1 pm until time of departure (2:45). The funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Augustine’s Roman Catholic church, 340 Dominion Street, Moncton on Wednesday May 28 at 3 pm. Interment will be at Our Lady of Calvary cemetery in Dieppe. In memory of Butch, a contribution to the CHU Dumont Foundation (Dialysis) would be appreciated.
