Oscar LeBlanc, 78, of Cap-Pelé passed away
on Thursday May 15th, 2025, at Dr Georges L.-Dumont UHC. Born in
Trois-Ruisseaux, he was the son of the late Adélard and
Antoinette (Bourque) LeBlanc.
Known for his strength, humor and big heart, Oscar
was a proud iron worker who dedicated his life to a trade that
demanded courage, precision and hard work. From building projects all
across the country, his true legacy is found in the friendships he
forged along the way. He was more than a man of steel – he
was a man of stories, laughter and quiet moments by the river where he
loved to go fishing. At his side was his true companion, his beloved
dog Molly.
He is survived by his spouse, Yvonne (Cormier)
Vautour of Cap-Pelé: his children; Micheline LeBlanc
(Richard Gallant) of Haute-Aboujagane, Mathieu LeBlanc (Céline
Léger) of Shediac Bridge: one brother, Hubert
(Éliza) of Bas Cap-Pelé. He is also survived by
his grandchildren; Isabelle, Julie, Joseph and Addyson and his great
grand children; Maxime and Cameron. He leaves to mourn his three
stepchildren Nancy, Rachel and Yves: his step-grandchildren; Annick,
Chantale, Chris, Chanelle, Julie and Jaxen and his step-great
grandchildren; Audrey, Olivier, Caleb, Dominic and
Khloé.
