Donalda Leger, 97, of Moncton, passed away on Friday May 16, 2025 at the Villa du Repos. Born in Somers, Connecticut, she was the daughter of the late Honoré and Yvonne (Bastarache) Surette.

She is survived by four children: Annette Munro, Donald Leger, Gerry Leger and Harvey Leger; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; one sister, Stella Gallant; two brothers: Leo Surette and Harvey Surette; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Gerald; one son, Désiré; two sisters: Aurore and Doris; and three brothers: Ovila, Désiré and Edmond.

By request, there will be no visitation and no funeral service. Interment will be at Notre-Dame parish cemetery. In memory of Donalda, a contribution to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
