Dorothy Claudette Francoeur, 82, of Shediac, passed away on Saturday May 3, 2025 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born in Shediac, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Mathilda (Richard) LeBlanc.

She is survived by her son, Edward Francoeur (Sarah) of Ontario; two grandchildren: Foxx and Olivia; one sister, Jeanne McQueen of Ontario; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by eight sisters and brothers: Mona LeBlanc, Edna LeBlanc, Lorraine LeBlanc, Rita Arsenault, Léona Fougère-Cormier, Laura LeBlanc, Camille LeBlanc and Albert LeBlanc.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac (506-532-3297) where the funeral service will be celebrated on Tuesday May 13 at 10:30 am. Visiting hours are Monday from 7 to 9 pm only. Interment will be at Saint-Joseph parish cemetery in Shediac. In memory of Dorothy, a contribution to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick or Diabetes Canada would be appreciated.
