Janice Cormier, 62, of Moncton passed away on Sunday, April 27, 2025, at her residence after a brief but courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Laurie and Frances (Steele) Cormier

Janice worked as a Ward Aide at the Moncton Hospital Emergency Department. She spent many years working at MacArthur’s Flower Shop and Michael’s. She will be remembered for her generosity and fun-loving spirit.

She is survived by her daughter Kiley Cormier; two sisters: Norma Cormier and Camilla Barkhouse (Ralph); three brothers: Marty (Jean), Ken (Phyllis), and Alan (Lisa) as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends,

She was predeceased by a special nephew, Ryan Cormier (2022)

A gathering of family and friends will be held at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (506-858-1900) on Wednesday May 7 from 7-9 pm only.

Interment will be at Our Lady of Calvary in Dieppe at a later date. In memory of Janice a contribution to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
