It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Emile LeBlanc, age 98, of Shediac. He passed away peacefully on Wednesday April 2, 2025, at the Villa Providence surrounded by his loving family. Born in Memramcook, Emile was the son of the late Albénie and Exelda (Belliveau) LeBlanc.
Prior to his retirement, Emile was employed with Lockwood Industries. He was a member of the Grande-Digue Golden Age Club.
He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He married the love of his life, Rita Caissie, in 1953, and they shared 71 wonderful years together. He also leaves to mourn his children, Linda (Bill Dawson) LeBlanc of Grande-Digue and Brenda Poirier (Yvon) of Brooks Alberta; his grand children: Sophie of Brooks Alberta, Erika Dawson (Bryan) of Shediac River and Cédrick (Brooke) of Okotoks Alberta.
He was predeceased by his brothers: Laurie, Yvon, Édouard, Ernest, Arthur, Antoine and Antoine who died in infancy as well as a grandson Justin.
A private family service will be held at a later date. Interment will be in the Notre-Dame de la Visitation Cemetery Grande-Digue N.B. In memory of Emile, a contribution to the Activity Dept. of the Villa Providence or Lung NB (formerly the NB Lung Association) would be appreciated.Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Shediac.
