It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Dorine (Saulnier) Cormier, 79, of Moncton, on Monday March 31, 2025 at the Pavillon Landry of Faubourg du Mascaret. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Maxmillian "Max" and Delina "Lina" (Vautour) Saulnier.

Dorine’s legacy is one of faith and love. She will be remembered as a loving person who’s love had no boundaries. Her kindness and warmth left this world a better place. Prior to her retirement, Dorine painted with her husband.

She is survived by her children: Joanne Collette (Paul) of Moncton, Cathy Gallant (Gilles) and Eddie Cormier (Monique), both of Grande-Digue; her heart was with her nine grandchildren: Justin, Nathan, Chance, Denis, Joel, Miguel, Pierre, Marcia, and Suzanne, and her six great-grandchildren: Rayna, Kamren, Maverick, Graysyn, Samuel and Jack; Dorine is also leaving behind four brothers: Emery (May) and Donald (Jeannine) both of Dieppe, Alcide (late Barb) of Mississauga, ON, and Rev. Alfred (Bertine) of Bowmansville, ON; two sisters: Irene Thériault (late Clarence "Bebe") and Jeannine Cormier (late Louis), both of Mississauga, ON; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her loving husband, Zephyr "Jeff" Sr Cormier (1995); one son, Jeff Jr Cormier (Lisa) (2021); two grandchildren: Chantal and Dylan; three brothers: Frank, Jean Paul and Roger; and two sisters: Corine and Dorice.

Special thanks to the doctors, nurses and support staff at Faubourg du Mascaret nursing home for their support and comfort during this difficult time.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (506-858-1900) on Saturday April 5 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm only. There will be no funeral service. Interment will be at Our Lady of Calvary cemetery in Dieppe. In memory of Dorine, a contribution to the N.B. Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
