Thomas Belliveau, 85, of Dieppe and formerly of Campbellton, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family, on Thursday March 13, 2025 at Albert House of Hospice SENB. Born in Dorchester Crossing (Scoudouc), he was the son of the late Odilon and Sara (Belliveau) Belliveau.

Persevering and full of great energy, he always faced challenges with courage and optimism. His comforting smile and radiant presence left a lasting impression on everyone who crossed his path. His resilience and positivity will remain etched in our hearts, inspiring us to carry on his work with the same determination.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Agnès (Savoie); five children: Carole Belliveau (Jean-Claude Lagacé), Anne Belliveau-LeBlanc (Richard «Rick» LeBlanc), Brigitte Belliveau (Gaëtan Lagacé) and Guy (Chantale), all of Dieppe, and Luc (Marie-Josée Mazerolle) of Beresford; four sisters: Marie-Paule Richard (late Rhéal), Roberte Gauvin (late Fred), Annette Melanson (Emile) and Monique Richard-Léger (Phillipe), all of Shediac; as well as several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one sister, Claudette Petitpas; and three brothers: Bernard, Claude and Donat.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (506-858-1900) on Sunday March 16 from 2 to 5 pm and Monday from 12:30 pm until time of departure (1:40). The funeral mass will be celebrated at Sainte-Thérèse-de-l’Enfant-Jésus church, 457 Acadie Avenue, Dieppe on Monday March 17 at 2 pm. The funeral mass will be videotaped, and the video will be available on Thomas’ obituary on the Frenette Website at the end of the day. Interment will be at Our Lady of Calvary cemetery in Dieppe. In memory of Thomas, a contribution to Hospice SENB (Albert House) would be appreciated.
