Jeffery Charles Reid, 68, of Moncton, passed away on Thursday March 6, 2025 at his residence. He was born in Belleville, Ont.

He is survived by his spouse, Catherine Reid (Valentinuzzi) of Truro, NS; children: Douglas (Thiwarat) of Pictou, NS, Stephen of Sackville, NB, Jennifer of Calgary, AB, Peter of Belleville, ON, and Brooke of Truro, NS; granddaughter, Isabelle (Stephen); and Scarlette Clyke, who looked up to him like a father figure.

He was the son of Douglas W. Reid and Doreen G. Reid (Ellis) of Belleville, ON; brother to Greg (Jennifer) and Brad (Linda), both of Ontario, and predeceased by sister, Kelly Johnston (Van) of Ontario.

Prior to his retirement, Jeffery was a proud member of the Court of Canada, CYC Association, supervisor of DCS Child Welfare, former facility of NSCC for CYC programs, program manager of Children Aid Society of Pictou County.

A celebration of life will take place on Friday April 4, 2025 from 3 to 7 pm at Truro Horsmen’s Club, 73 Ryland Avenue, Exhibition Entrance, Truro, N.S.  Expressions of sympathy and donations to family would be greatly appreciated.
