Ovila was a devoted husband and father and a cherished grandfather and great-grandfather who adored spending time with the little ones.  He had a long career as a carpenter and was always ready to lend a helping hand whether it’d be to help with construction or renovation projects. He loved being surrounded by nature and spending time gardening always maintaining beautifully landscaped yards wherever he lived.  He was an avid reader and very passionate about history taking pleasure in recounting stories of the past. He was an artist and musician, enjoyed his 4 o’clock beer and appreciated a good joke. He was a sensitive soul devoted to his God and known as a sweet, good-natured man who will be greatly missed by those who knew him.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff and volunteers at Maison Albert House for the kind and attentive care provided to Ovila during the last month of his illness.
