Hélèna Thérèse Bourque, 98, of Villa Providence, Shediac, passed away on Friday, March 7, 2025, at her residence. Born in Dupuis Corner, she was the daughter of the late Stanislas "Tanis" and Albina (Thibodeau) Léger.

She is survived by her three children: Genette Bourque (Tony McNamara) of Desboro, ON, Bernadette Bee (Richard) and Michael (Josi Costantini) all of Mississauga, ON; her sister, Claudette Plummer (George) of Grand-Barachois; her brothers, Camille (Pauline) of Cap-Pelé, Léandre (Lucille) and Joseph (Jeannita) all of Grand-Barachois; her sisters-in-law, Alice Léger of Cap-Pelé and Élise Léger of Shediac; her grandchildren, Jennifer (Mark), Lindsey (Amir), Kyle (Anne), Kristin (Allan), Kathryn (Anthony), Haley (Cody) and Sean (Brielle); her great-grandchildren, Owen, Conner, London, Emma, Ella, Victoria, Nicolas, Dominic, Xavier, Sebastian and Juliette; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Hélèna was predeceased by her husband, Néri Bourque (2018); her siblings, Marguerite Grenier, Emery, Éveline LeBlanc, Alice Léger, Juliette Léger, Oswald and Alcide.

Visitation and funeral service will be held later in the spring with dates and times to be announced.
