It is with great sadness that we, the family, announce the death of Kenneth Falconer on February 12, 2025. Known affectionately as Ken, Kenny, or uncle Ken, he was born and lived in Moncton, NB.
His home gardens were nothing short of an urban farm. Ken grew everything from seed and tended a high-yield vegetable garden and a front pathway of zinnias in memory of his mother. One of Ken’s great passions was the management of his forested land, including planting trees he grew from seed. He was especially fond of the giant sequoias he nurtured in his backyard through several winters. Ken was an example to the family on how to be a steward of the land he cared for so well.
Ken was the son of the late Wallace and Inez (Kervin) Falconer and loving nephew of the late Ruth Falconer. He is missed by his siblings: Wallace (Patricia), Rosemary, Dennis, and Anne.
He was predeceased by infant brother Terrence and brother Brian.
Uncle Ken was loved by his nieces and nephews who will miss turning to him for advice on their gardens. He had a knack for choosing unique and useful gifts for his great nephews who will remember him when digging epic holes at the beach or finding their way in the dark with a flashlight.
We love you Ken. Thank you for sharing your life with us.
By request, there will be no visitation and no funeral service. Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Moncton (506-858-1900).
